The Janus Gallery represents artists primarily from the school of Temporal Abstractionism at locations in New York City and Atlanta, GA, and has been a part of exhibitions worldwide.

For over 30 years, our artists have been capturing moments in time and memory, and recreating them as art.

Connecting over the common theme of time as a starting point, Janus Gallery artists use their own techniques and mediums in their work. The artists represented by the Janus Gallery form the Janus Collective, and are pioneers in the area of temporal abstractionism.

The Janus Gallery is also committed to the development and promotion of new and emerging artists. The Janus Fellows are artists who have been identified by the Janus Gallery as temporal abstractionists at the beginnings of their careers.

These young artists have been invited to gain experience and exposure under the wings of more experienced artists as a part of the Janus Collective.

The Janus Gallery understands that time and memory are fundamental to life, and therefore fundamental to art.  Although every artist will represent it differently, and from different points of view, each artist represented by the Janus Gallery seeks to show that time can be seen, condensed and immortalized through being painted onto canvas.
